Faith Comes By Hearing

The apostle Paul once wrote that “faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God" (Romans 10:17).    That is to say, that faith comes by the revelation or quickened thoughts we hear whilst hearing the word being spoken or taught.

As you prayerfully go through these study notes, always be mindful to ‘listen out’ for what the Holy Spirit is saying to you personally... that quicken thought or ‘light bulb' moment that gives you a whole new understanding that was tailor made just for you.

Please don't overthink these studies... they are merely for the purpose of renewing your mind to the truth of God’s word. They have been written to help you to more clearly see who Christ is, how much He loves you, who you really are, and how He has called you to live. In every respect, they are to give you more reason to lean your entire personality on Him.

"and you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”  (John 8:32)

Whilst the knowledge of the truth lets you know you can be free, it is Jesus Himself, and your relationship with Him, that actually makes you free.

Although knowledge about healing lets you know that God wants you healed and that you can be healed, it is the leading of and the leaning on the power of the Holy Spirit  that actually brings about the manifestation of healing in your life.

It's All About Him...

Our study notes are merely ‘stabilisers’ to help give you confidence to desire to begin, or continue building upon a life in the spirit.  Renewing your mind to the truth of God's word will give you the correct perspective that makes room and place for an encounter with Jesus, that opens the door to the reality of the Kingdom of God.. The reality and actual fruitfulness of your spiritual journey is based not upon what or how much you know, but in having an encounter with Christ Himself,  it's  in knowing Him and in yielding  your whole person  to His Spirit.

Selah...

As  you read through and review these study notes, my sincere prayer for you is...

"that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power" (Ephesians 1:17-19)
